This journey is not for the faint of heart.

The Power of Faith and Resilience

Looking back on my experiences, I don’t know how people do it without faith in God. It’s been through my relationship with Jesus that I’ve found true rest and reassurance, especially in those dark moments of fear and failure. No experience has ever been wasted; the trials and triumphs have taught me invaluable lessons that have shaped who I am today—not just as a businesswoman, but as a daughter of the King.

Through my business journey, I’ve come to realize that God is secretly using every high and low to shape my character, increase my faith, and reach others who are hurting or broken. It’s no longer just about growing a successful business; it’s about understanding that He is sovereign, regardless of the circumstances or my shortcomings. Every moment—whether a celebration of success or a quiet prayer during hardship—He is in control.

I’ve faced unimaginable discomfort at times. There have been honest moments of introspection and hard knocks that forced me to confront the truth about myself and my business. But through every challenge, I’ve learned to embrace every tiny blessing with gratitude and to stand firmly in my identity, not just as a business owner, but as a woman of faith.

Our commitment to women’s empowerment at The Sheba Shop began with a simple goal: to create beautifully crafted bags for the modern woman, by the modern woman. Every piece in our collection is designed with love by local South African artisans—many of whom are talented women. By supporting these artisans, we provide them with opportunities to grow, learn, and become entrepreneurs in their own right.

I feel more prepared, more confident, and ready to scale because I know that the Lord is building my business.
